Bookings - Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Access Angling to take you fishing. This document sets out what you can expect from us and also outlines your responsibilities.

 Please get in touch prior to completing your booking if you have any queries.

 1. Confirmation

• You will receive an email within 48 hours of Access Angling completing your booking to confirm the reservation.

 2. Payment Terms - Schools & Organisations

•  Payment is required 7 days before the event unless otherwise agreed.
•  Payments will be made via BACS unless otherwise agreed.
•  Sort Code: 60-83-71
•  Account Number: 79854721
•  Late payments will incur a £40 admin fee.
•  If your booking is for more than one event, terms will be discussed prior to completing your booking form

2.5 Cancellation - Schools/Organisations

• If you cancel your booking we require notification by email.
• Notification within 30 days of event - no refund
• Notification 31-60 days of event - no refund but transfer to a new date (£40 admin fee)
• Notification 61 days+ full refund or date transfer
• Weather - we run our sessions whatever the weather, please ensure participants and staff are dressed appropriately for the weather. We aim to go fishing in all weather if the safety of all participants can be maintained. If our classroom space is not suitable, school bookings planned for off-site maybe moved on-site if possible.

3. Payment Terms - Individuals

• A deposit of £75.00 is required at the time of booking.
• Payments of the remaining balance will be made by cash or bank transfer before the session begins.

• None payment of outstanding balance will result in session cancellation. No refund will be given.
• If you cancel your booking we require notification by email. 
• Notification 1 day of event - no refund.
• Notification 2-7 days of event - no refund but transfer to a new date
• Notification 8 - 14 days or more of the event - full refund or date transfer.

 If we cancel your booking:

• We will notify you as soon as possible
• You will be entitled to a full refund.
• If we cancel due to weather conditions and are not able to complete an amended program, you will be entitled to carry your booking to another date. A refund will not be made.

 4. Assurance

• Staff leading activities hold appropriate National Governing Body Awards and are all qualified coaches.
• Staff leading activities are first aid qualified and have many years experience of working in angling.
• Risk assessments are carried out for all activities.

 5. Insurance

• Access Angling are insured (public liability) to carry out all activities detailed in the session plan document. Details regarding our insurance policy are available on request. We do not include any personal accident, personal injury, baggage/equipment, third party liability or cancellation insurance. We recommend that you take out personal insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation or personal injury. We advise schools to check their insurance policy prior to any reservation being made. ©Access Angling 2022 

6. Liability

• Access Angling will accept no liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property. This includes personal vehicles.

 7. Participation Statement

• We are passionate about the benefits that time spent fishing offers all participants. As with all activities there is a risk of personal injury. The risk is managed through our robust procedures, experience, equipment and the completion of documents assessing the risk for all activities undertaken. By completing the booking form you are confirming that you are giving your consent to take part in the activities outlined.
• Clients working with young people (schools for example) should ensure they have the necessary parental consent.

 8. Notification of medical details

• It is your responsibility to notify us, prior to the event date, of any personal or medical details that we need to be aware of.
• Schools - please notify us (at info@accessangling.co.uk) if any children or staff have any medical needs that we need to be aware of.

 9. Photo consent

•  We may take photos throughout your day with us. These may be posted on social media, used on our website or for other marketing purposes. Please inform us if you do not give your consent. Thats it! Hopefully, we will have discussed all aspects of your visit ahead of completing the booking form.
